Born and raised on Cape Cod, Jennifer married Scott, her high school sweetheart. Their love for the area made the Cape a natural choice to settle and raise a family, as they wanted their children to experience the same beloved beaches and ocean of their childhood.
Jennifer earned her BA degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State College. With a deep-rooted love for her community, she is involved in many charity projects. She is passionate about giving back to causes that benefit the children in the community. She is most particularly proud of her 21 year involvement in The Joe Cronin Memorial Jimmy Fund Fishing Tournament, where she served as a Committee Member from 1997-2013 and an Executive Committee Co-Chair from 2014 until its 25th and final tournament in 2018. The final two-day tournament resulted in over 6.5 million dollars total donated to Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund for pediatric cancer research. She is also the President of the Dan Hassett Memorial Scholarship Fund, a fund set up for Barnstable High School seniors who wish to move on to college and also for at risk kids in the community.
